Not so long ago, stars would go to great lengths to hide their marital status for fear of losing fan following. With the public opinion changing, celebs are now getting more open about their live-in relationships. Let's take a look at some live-in Bollywood couples.

Some time back, Katrina had disclosed that she lived-in with Salman Khan when she was new to the industry. It took a while for the fiery actress to go public with the fact. Although it is nothing new for industry insiders, it was at Karan Johar's chat show that Katrina, who rarely speaks about her boyfriend, opened her heart about living with Khan.

They definitely made a hot couple, till the duo called it quits after eight long years of being in love! Lara Dutta and ex-boyfriend Kelly Dorjee were living together even before they started their film careers. Sadly, the relationship could not stand the test of time.

When Saif Ali Khan parted ways with wife Amrita Singh, he moved in with his then girlfriend Roza Catalano and was happy in a live-in relationship with his Italian love. And that’s when Kareena decided to steal the 'Chotte Nawab' away from Roza's arms!

Aamir chose to desert his wife Reena and kids to be with his current wife Kiran Rao. It was only when the rumour mill churned stories on Aamir and Kiran holidaying abroad, that the actor declared that he will marry Kiran Rao.

When there was a strong buzz about Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma parting ways, the actor came out in defence, saying, “My girlfriend stays with me at my apartment. We have been living in for quite some time now and my love life is just as fine.”

After an ugly fight with her parents over money, Ameesha Patel decided to live-in with then boyfriend, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt. Their live-in arrangement didn't work for long. Ameesha later reconciled with her parents.

John Abraham and Bipasha Basu started dating each other way back in 2003 on the sets of 'Jism'. Though Bips says she loves her space, the grapevine has it that the couple has a live-in relationship till date.

Kamal Haasan and Sarika were living together in the 80s, which shocked many at that time. They even had kids out of wedlock. The couple married in 1988 and are now separated. They've two daughters, actress Shruti and Akshara.

The rumours were strong that Sunny Deol was living-in with Dimple Kapadia, while his wife lived in London. Though the two actors don't fiercely guard their personal lives, many have seen them making appearances together.

Kangana Ranaut lived-in with her mentor Aditya Pancholi when she was just new to this Bollywood industry. But, then the two parted ways after Aditya mishandled Kangana on different public occasions.

'Dev D' director Anurag Kashyap was so smitten by actress Kalki Koechlin that he went on to have a live-in relationship with her without worrying about what people had to say! The duo also make public appearances together.

Actress Parveen Babi dared to share intimate relationship with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt at a time when live-in relationships were unheard of. It is said that later Bhatt took care of her when her health deteriorated and even took her for medical help. Mahesh told their love story on celluloid with the film 'Woh Lamhe'.

A strong buzz did the rounds that actor Manoj Bajpai had a live-in relationship with actress Neha, who made her Bollywood debut with 'Kareeb'. The two went ahead and tied the knot in 2006.

The vivacious Pooja Bedi followed the footsteps of dad Kabir Bedi when she had a live-in relationship with then boyfriend Hanif Hilal. But the couple parted ways recently.

Actress Archana Puran Singh lived in with hubby Parmeet Sethi for a long time before they decided to get married. The duo is happy that the Supreme Court has declared that living in is as good as being in a marriage.

After winning the Miss Univ contest, Sushmita became every filmmaker's eye candy. Sush made her debut with 'Dastak' and while shooting for the film she fell in love with director Vikram Bhatt. They soon discovered life under one roof! But the relationship didn't last long.

    This concept actually comes from the western culture and i think bollywood supportesd well to promote it in india.And i think it is well adapted by the youth of india.
